The current work program of the Horizon Europe WIDERA-Widening (Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence) program includes calls for proposals with particular relevance to WTOs and TTOs in the context of knowledge valorization. Particularly relevant are the call for proposals on the "European Excellence Initiative," as well as Area 4 (Establish a European network of knowledge valorization intermediaries) and Area 5 (Upgrade services of Knowledge and Technology Transfer professionals in universities and research performing organizations) of the "Rolling out the ERA Policy Agenda results" call. Areas 4 and 5 support the implementation of ERA Action 7 (Upgrade EU guidance for a better knowledge valorization) of the ERA Policy Agenda 2022-2024. The deadlines for these calls are November 20, 2025, and September 18, 2025, respectively. The complete work program with other interesting calls can be found here.
