This year marks the 25th anniversary of World IP Day, the global day to raise awareness of the importance of intellectual property. The NCP-IP celebrates this important day every year with the NCP-IP World IP Day Event, the annual signature event of the National Contact Point. This year, under the title Networking knowledge, shaping the future! Co-Creation and IP Strategy, the event offered valuable insights into the importance of IP strategies in collaborative development partnerships with inspiring best practice examples and an exciting panel discussion.
The best practice examples presented and the panel discussion showed us one thing above all: in our fast-moving world, we need collaborations to be able to meet the challenges of our time. The key to the success of collaborations is a clear framework, which must also be clearly communicated between the project partners. Successful collaborations are always based on the people behind them and mutual trust.
